What is the point of this?
Why does it matter so much?

@stim
It's actually good to make a nice long post. Not just one that's 5 words. Making a post should take more then 30 secs (unless under certain circumstances)

It bugs me occasionally, but I've gotten used to it.

I don't see how anyone could post 2 things within 30secs. I mean, you have to read the rest of the posts, etc. before you post.
I actually think it should be longer! 2 mins, maybe?
EDIT: Why is this post in the User Submission feedback area?

I completely agree, if one is making 2 posts whit in 30 seconds, then he can't be making decent posts.

well, there have been times when I've been in two "conversations" in two threads, where active users where posting at the same time as me, in which I in fact could've posted twice in 30 seconds, but whatever.

It depends how fast at typing you are. I posted this message in about 10 seconds.

yeah, I'm pretty fast....

It can also depend on what the thread is about...e.g post your desktop takes less than 4 seconds to post in.
^^=13 seconds.
I can type a fair sized message of maybe four sentences and another in less than thirty seconds some time. I can type pretty fast if I want to, so the limit can be annoying for me.
