Well, helmus said to stop complaining about the ol' MySpace template and make my own page. With BryanJ's help, I've done just that. (Much thanks and rep to BryanJ for the hosting!!!)
Mind you, I'm still trying to figure out how to make a contact page without putting my e-mail in the code (been surfing the tuts and looking at a couple books, trying to figure out the answer before I ask a question I could have answered myself-no 20 posts/day and asking others to do it for me). I'm also going to get around to changing up the default link colors and scrollbar. Also, one day, I'd like to go for the Premium page on CafePress to make the buying smoother...
Otherwise, how does it look?

Looking good, except change the link colours from the default blue.

Nice, but maybe resize the product images to fit under the actual heading? because on my poor monitor i have to scroll to the side abit =p

That's pretty cool, and it was nice of bryan to do that

Thank you! I will definitely change the links colors. :p
@ Gooden I coded it using percentages. Everything should have modified it's positioning to fit your screen. What is your monitor set to?
Update: What do you think of the link colors now?

Hey.
I think its like 1024 - 760 or something along those lines.

try a grey/white tmolt...the red blends to much with the graidented background

nice job, one thing though: the text needs a bit more contrast against the background...ie: the sitemap and that quote thing are all invisible to me until I highlighted them.
Otherwise, good site!

Hmmm, odd. I tested it in 1024 X 760 and it fit perfectly. Also, all text (aside from links) SHOULD be showing up as white against a black bg, or red bg if towards the very top of the page. But all text aside from links is white... PigFeed, is the bg showing up as white for you, or is the text showing up as black?
Could this be a IE vs. FF issue? (I use IE-7)
As for the links, I'll try the white and grey suggested.
Update: Ok, it seems the stylesheet wasn't taking. Well, the code in the stylesheet is short, so I deleted it and added the info. to each individual page...at least until I figure out WHY the stylesheet went to hell on me. Hopefully, that fixes all the text and links color issues. The positioning issue...well, I'm still not sure on that one.
Hm, I don't like side scrolling. Your banner image's width is 1024. So if some ones screen res is lower then 1024 by 760 they will have a huge scroll.
You have to take into account the vertical scroll bar it takes up a few pix's.
Also you mentioned you coded with percentages which is good, but the images won't scale. It's not that big a deal since it's a personal site, but still kina annoying.
Other then that, looks real nice.

Ah, ok, I see. I'll work on that this weekend. (This week is much to busy...) Thank you!

nice job on the site, like ur work :D
Few things:
Get rid of the border around headings. detracts from the page to much i think.
See if you find some way of popping up a larger version of the artwork on a mouseover event. I saw something like that here some where.
The banner is great, but i would see if you could blend the back part so it doesn't contrast to much with the page background.
Really nice job though, look forward to your next project :D

Well, I agree, a larger image displaying when the smaller image is 'moused over' would be kind of cool. My problem, though, is that I can't suppost any .php, .css,, or most other sorts of files. Notepad allows me to save .txt files, and textpad allows me to save .html files, as well as quite a few types of files I had never even heard of before...but not any 'normal' file types, other than the basic .html.
The hubby isn't to fond of spending money on anything computer-wise, UNLESS it's like a new liquid cooling system, graphics card, or anything else that allows his PC to be the uber gaming machine... ...so, I'm kinda screwed on that. Maybe, once I deploy, I can save up some $ in my deployment account and work something out. More than likely, I'll have to involve paying a fellow member of tizag to fix it (there's hope for certain people here...depending on their price and what I can save). In the meantime, I'll do what I can...such as resizing the pics for certain smaller screen res's.
The whole thing is turning out to be a pain in the butt...I like coding, but not the limitations I have to work within. :(
