Has anyone tried Google Alerts?

Just like a tracker,you can write some words you want to know which contain it,then submit ,google will give you answer.But i think it is not exactitude.

If you use any keywords and select web type,then when google indexed one page fill your require(contain keywords which you selected),it will send email to you.

I have tried google alerts.It has features monitoring your news story thoroughly,Complete competitor analysis,keeping track of all the latest events.

You can use it to find some information of your competitors.Then you can collect the sources which you can use too.

I use it to notify me whenever Google finds new backlinks to me from sites that previously had 0 backlinks to me. (as opposed to notifying me for additional links such as forum footers)

notify my new backlink?I have try to do that, "link:domain",but sometimes i have build more backlinks,good have not sent email to me.So i think it is not nicety.

I'm using google alert to see new blog post which I usually comment on and also to keep in track of the most recent activities or news on my niche.
