Link Building or Marketing?

My site has a decent amount of relevant backlinks and it is also ranking well in search engines.But still it is not generating much amount of traffic.Why this is happening especially when my site is having links as well as good ranking?So shall I devote much of my time on social media marketing?

try using SMO, coz if you have something really good to offer, and you are not generating traffic, then it is better if you discuss it with everybody on various social media, you will get some real honest comments from visitors

You might have good ranking WITH LOW SEARCH QUERY VOLUME keywords. Try to rank more on long til keywords.

Back link helps generate traffic. In order to get back links, engaging on the techniques such as blog commenting, forum posting, classified ads, press release, article and directory submissions, online groups and social bookmarking helps.

It depends on your PRIORITY. If you are really more after on quick sales conversion, you better do more marketing. But if you can spend long time in making your website rank for more and long term sales conversion, you focus on SEO.

Not at all. They have decent search volume and I have started promoting sites in some reputed social media but success still remains elusive.

The site structure of content-writing-india.com/ appears to be really well optimised.
As an observation you are duplicating your keywords in content-writing-india.com/, there are different opinions on this but I would tend to do something like this:-
Keywords:- content, writing, India, SEO, services,- using between 8 and 12 keywords most relevant first, comma in between no duplicates.
SEO is about making incremental changes and making it as easy as possible for search engine bots to wiz through a site.
